I went through an incredibly difficult low point in my life after finishing college in 2017, but an unexpected trip to Iceland ended up causing something inside of me to take a step back from my struggles and truly remember what it is to have fun and a sense of awe and adventure again. From watching glaciers tip over to drinking straight from a waterfall's stream and riding an ATV for the first time on a trail meant for experts, I got more than I gambled for on that trip.
